England (St. George) Flag

The St. George’s Cross flag is the national flag of England and is recognized for its striking design. It features a red cross on a white background, symbolizing the patron saint of England, Saint George. The flag’s origins date back to the medieval era when it was curated to tribute Saint George, a military saint during the Third Crusade.

Since then, it has been used during the reigns of Plantagenet Kings of England and on Royal Standards. In 1606, the flag was incorporated into the official design of the Union Jack, uniting England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland (now only Northern Ireland) into one nation. Today, this iconic flag is flown at sporting events and remains an important symbol of English identity.

We provide flags in different materials:

• Sewn – Our team sews together pre-coloured 155gsm Woven Polyester materials, the preferred choice of the MOD. In cases where intricate badges are necessary, we sew a printed badge onto the flag. This option offers a traditional look and feel.
• Printed – We digitally print these flags on 115gsm Knitted Polyester material.
• Eco Friendly – We digitally print these flags on 115gsm Recycled Knitted Polyester material.
• Novelty – Designed for decorative purposes, we print these on lightweight Polyester material. These flags are not suitable for flagpoles.

We hem and finish all flags according to your specifications, ready for flying or hanging.

For added durability, you can opt to include antifray netting on the flag’s fly edge. This sacrificial piece of material extends the flag’s lifespan by becoming the first part to fray. When you notice this wear, simply send the flag back to us for antifray removal and replacement. This approach is more cost-effective than purchasing a completely new flag.
