The present day Breda is a merger of the former municipalities of Breda,
Nieuw Ginneken (Bavel and Ulvenhout), Prinsenbeek,
Rijsbergen (Hazeldonk) and Teteringen
(01-01-1997). The rest of Nieuw Ginneken (Galder and Strijbeek) went to
Alphen en Chaam.
